iRobot Cleaning Robots Can Be Purchased by the General Public
Robots that perform household cleaning tasks are available for purchase by the general public from a company named iRobot.
The most well-known of the products is the Roomba, which vacuums household rooms on autopilot. Dirt, dust, pet hair, cat litter, crumbs and other debris from your carpets and hard floors are lifted cleanly and automatically by iRobot Roomba. It cleans under and around furniture, into corners and along wall edges, has powerful suction and rotating brushes, and automatically navigates for best cleaning coverage. It self-adjusts from carpets to hard floors and back again, and automatically avoids stairs, drop-offs and off-limit areas. Just press the clean button and Roomba does the rest – it’s simple to use!.
Another product, iRobot Scooba, cleans hardwood and tile floors automatically. Sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors are removed gently and efficiently by its patented four-stage cleaning system – so much so that 98 percent of bacteria are removed. Scooba preps, washes, scrubs and squeegees hard floors, cleaning the entire area, under and around furniture and along wall and cabinet edges while automatically avoiding carpets, stairs and drop-offs. It preps, washes, scrubs and squeegees sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors, and knows where to clean and avoids rugs, carpets and cliffs.
